We all have heard the saying, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it.' However, that doesn't mean that you can't improve upon greatness. That is what Dodge has set out to do with the new 2015 Charger. It made its debut a few weeks ago in New York, and the results are simply stunning. With a redone front end, this new Charger will be unmistakable once it hits the streets of Houston.
Packed under the hood will be "DOHC 3.6-liter 300-hp V6 capable of 31 mpg highway and a standard eight-speed automatic transmission with sport mode that Dodge claims will reduce shift times 37%." This according to MarketWatch. The legendary muscle car will also have a 5.7-liter 370-hp Hemi V8 as an option, so there is no worry if speed and power are you main concern.
What makes us so excited about the new upgrades are all the updates done to the exterior of the car. Dodge has said that every body panel on the 2015 Charger is new. From the hood, fenders, front end, all the way down to the doors, it has been completely redesigned for the better. The most recognizable change comes to the front end of the car where a new crosshair grille, LED fog lamps, and projector-beam headlamps have been crafted together to create a sleek modern look. Add to the mix over 80 available safety and security features, and the new Charger is set to impress everyone who is able to take a spin behind the wheel.
