One reason we would choose the Rebel over the Raptor is because the Raptor comes with a lot of excessive features. In reality you need a Ram truck that is capable of carrying things from Point A to Point B, which will most likely be done on paved or dirt roads, not up the side of a mountain. So why pay the extra costs? Instead, we would rather have the truck that can easily do the job it was designed to do.
Next, we would also prefer the suspension of the Ram. The ride height in the new Rebel will be a bit more than the 1500 and it also comes with an off-road setting. What makes this suspension great is that it is fully integrated throughout the vehicle. This is a huge boost when compared to an aftermarket system that can really cause problems down the road. Plus, it is adjustable, which can really help the ride depending on the weight in your bed. This will make the entire experience of driving it pleasant. So if you are carrying an entire apartment to your new place, or just a grill to the park, you will notice a dramatic difference in the drive.
