RAM Truck Models Help USPS Deliver Mail

RAM Truck recently announced plans to supply 9,113 brand new 2016 RAM ProMaster® 2500 cargo van models, specially outfitted for use delivering parcels and mail by the United States Postal Service.

The 2016 RAM ProMaster 2500 features a large and easily accessible cargo area. It's powered by a 280-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine.

According to Bob Hegbloom, RAM Truck President and CEO, "The RAM ProMaster is suited to meet the challenging demands of a USPS delivery vehicle... Reliability, durability, ease of use, lower acquisition and operating costs are hallmarks of the RAM ProMaster."

RAM pickup truck owners can and do use their vehicles for just about anything you can imagine, from towing boats and trailers for a weekend of fun and excitement, to hauling building materials and supplies for a tough day of work at the job site.

And now the United States Postal Service can join in, using the 2016 RAM ProMaster 2500 cargo van to deliver important packages and letters to people all over the country.
