After a long-anticipated wait by Jeep® fans (since 1991 to be exact!), the moment has finally arrived. The rumors of a revived Jeep Grand Wagoneer are finally proving to be true. Recent spy photos emerged from a Jeep dealer meeting that offer a quick glimpse into what the revived vehicle may offer. And if you’re looking for the return of the wood-sided vehicles of the past, you may be in for a little bit of disappointment. Here at Gillman Chrysler Jeep® Dodge RAM, we’re excited to let you in on what we know about this Jeep SUV so far.

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer will be a three-row vehicle that’s both taller and wider than the current Jeep Grand Cherokee. The revived Jeep vehicle will receive quite the facelift from the last time the Jeep Grand Wagoneer made an appearance in the brand’s lineup of vehicles. Judging from the leaked photos, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer will offer a sporty, aggressive look—much different than the Jeep Grand Wagoneer vehicles of old. This SUV will feature a seven-bar grille, LED-illuminated headlights, integrated fog lights and taillights, and a pair of trapezoidal exhaust tips in the back. As far as performance goes, a HEMI V8 engine, as well as a diesel and gas V6 engines, are the likely options for the vehicle. That probably makes up for the lack of wood paneling, right?

What’s the future look like for the Jeep Grand Wagoneer? It’s rumored that this Jeep SUV will be involved with the 2019 lineup of Jeep vehicles. Here at our Houston, TX Jeep dealership, we will continue to monitor any information about this revived Jeep SUV.
