When looking to buy a car, a lot of things are probably on your list of must-haves: good fuel efficiency, high safety ratings, comfort, and as of the past five years or so, technology. The advanced technology equipped in today’s models goes above and beyond just navigation. Here are some of our favorite technologies that are in the models right here on our lot.
Uconnect® Infotainment System
Many vehicles at our Houston car dealership have some form of the Uconnect infotainment system. This system does it all: from voice commands that connect with your smartphone, connection to emergency assistance, app integration, satellite radio, and Bluetooth® streaming. Most of the time, these systems come on the very base level of models, such as in the 2017 Jeep® Grand Cherokee and the 2017 Chrysler 300.
Driver-Assist Systems
Driver-assist technologies act as an extra pair of eyes to keep you safer on the road in various driving situations. Some of these systems include blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning and mitigation, forward collision warning and mitigation, and rear parking sensors.
In vehicles like the 2017 Dodge Journey, drivers can use the ParkSense® Rear Park Assist system to make the sometimes difficult task of parallel parking a lot easier.
Keyless Enter ‘N Go™
Gone are the days of fumbling in your bag for your keys with the latest Keyless Enter ‘N Go technology. With this feature, as long as you have your keys in close proximity to the vehicle, all you have to do is touch the door handle for it to unlock.
You don’t even need to put the keys in the ignition with the start/stop engine button feature.
See these technologies for yourself by visiting Gillman Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. Our team would be happy to show you how to use these exciting features to your benefit.
