The annual Detroit Auto Show took place a couple of weeks ago, and among all the automobile unveilings, there was one new pickup truck that stole the show: the 2019 RAM 1500. As one of the longest-running and best-selling pickup trucks on the market, the RAM 1500 has nothing to prove, but the engineers continue to innovate when it comes to interior and exterior styling, unrelenting capacity, and off-road prowess. The first thing that Auto Show attendees noticed about the 2019 RAM 1500 was its new exterior and interior styling, which add to the already luxurious feeling of the 2018 RAM 1500. Buyers will be treated to all-new signature LED headlamps and available 22-inch aluminum wheels.
When it comes to pickup truck power, the 2019 RAM 1500 will be the strongest RAM truck to date, thanks to 98 percent of the steel used in the frame being high-strength steel. The new 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine with eTorque technology will deliver an incredible 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque.
Meanwhile, the RAM Rebel trim, available in Quad Cab and Crew Cab configurations, is equipped with off-road features like Active-Level Four Corner Air Suspension, 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, and an ELocker Electronic Rear Differential for even more off-road power.
The new RAM truck will also be loaded with it comes to interior tech features. Buyers will be treated to a huge 12-inch touchscreen, a Harman Kardon premium sound system, and a media center with ultra-fast USB charging ports.
