2023 Dodge Charger at Gillman Chrysler Dodge Ram

The Dodge Charger is the last of the American-made muscle cars. Over the years, the Charger has provided drivers with serval updates, such as the addition of Hellcats, Redeyes, Scat Packs, and Widebodys. All of these things continue to keep the Charger engaged and exciting. Once again, the 2023 Dodge Charger comes with various powerful engines, including several V8 engine options that can easily pound the pavement. The best is the engine under the hood of the SRT Hellcat Redeye, which produces up to 797 horsepower. But, of course, what would all this power be without some excellent features and the Charger has these in spades no matter what trim level you go with. Want to learn more about the legend that is the 2023 Charger? Continue reading down below!

Extreme power of the 2023 Charger

Several awe-inspiring engine options are available for the 2023 Dodge Charger; each provides high horsepower and torque. The first engine is a 3.6-liter V6 that delivers a spectacular 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, which is upped to an astonishing 300 horsepower and 264 lb-ft of torque on the rear-wheel-drive GT and the all-wheel-drive SXT. Up next, we have the first of the V8 engine options! The first one is on the R/T, and it's a 5.7-liter V8 that doles out 370 horses and 395 lb-ft of torque. Then there is the Scat Pack which delivers a 6.4-liter V8 that gives you a stunning 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. The last engines are on the Hellcat trims, with the first being a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that has a massive 717 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The top cat is the Hellcat Redeye which has a mind-boggling 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque!

What is standard on the Charger?

Now that you know what's under the hood of the Charger, we need to tell you about all the impressive features you can get! We still start with the base trim, otherwise known as the SXT, which comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry/ignition, remote start, configurable driver information display, sport front seats, cloth upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. That's not even mentioning all the incredible tech! Standard tech for the SXT includes a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration, two USB ports, voice control, and satellite radio. Safety has always been a concern for Dodge, and even the base-level trim of the Charger has some terrific safety features that will keep you and your loved ones safe no matter where you go. Included on the base level SXT are items such as traction/stability control, airbags, and a rearview camera.

What higher trims of the Charger offer

Now that you are suitably impressed with what the base-level trim of the Charger offers, you will undoubtedly be impressed with the higher-level trims of the 2023 Charger! The next trim we have to talk about is the GT which comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, a rear spoiler, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a self-dimming rearview mirror. Then there is the Scat Pack which not only gets the spectacular Widebody package but also mixes in Brembo brakes, a limited-slip differential, a heavier-duty cooling system, launch control configurable driving modes, driver's-side memory settings, and heated front seats. Finally, as any good Charger driver will tell you, there is nothing like the Hellcat trims, and there is a lot to love on these trims with features such as an intercooler system, blind-spot monitoring, self-dimming driver's-side mirror, and ventilated seats. If this still isn't enough features for you, the Charger has several options available that will get you even more goodies, such as blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and an upgraded alarm system.
